We hire Kayaks for people to take themselves on paddling trips around the Nelson bay.
- Kayak hire includes: Kayak, Paddle, Buoyancy aid & Seat.
Please note: Kayaks are hired on a Freedom rental basis, no guide is available. Terms of hire must be signed prior to departure.
- Kayaks are not allowed to enter the designated commercial working areas of Port Nelson as shown on chart. - Passage way to Boulder bank is also shown on chart. - Sea Kayaks are hired as twin share for safety reasons. - These Kayaks are for hire to people with prior Kayak experience. - Minimum age for Kayak hire is 16 years, unless accompanied by an adult. - Appropriate clothing must be worn. (No Denim or long pants) - Kayaks will only be available for hire in appropriate weather.
Mornings are generally the best time for paddling, the afternoon sea breeze can make it challenging for one relatively new to Kayaking.
